Happy June! It’s My Birthday Month!!!

So it hasn’t happened yet, but you’ll notice some “unusual” things. First of all, on Thursdays? There will be a Teaser Tuesday post. In fact, on every Thursday this month! There will be a special Guest Author & A Giveaway post each Tuesday as well. And to round it out, a reader post every Saturday.

Fun, right? It’s all to super-load the blog for my birthday. 😀

Something else might happen, but I don’t know. Some times I like things to be off the cuff … which is also good and balances my crazy blog schedule, you know? (Incidentally the GA&AG is scheduled through June 2014 now…)

Speaking of it being my birthday… the focus should be on ME right? *angelface* Aside from hitting up the liquor store, more should happen.

One way to do that? Join Swagbucks! (Copy and paste this link into your browser: http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/limecello) If you follow me on twitter, every so often you’ll see a message like this one:

That’s actually me. And it’s legit. This is a screen cap of my gift cards page. There are actually too many for you to see them all. I’ve literally gotten hundreds of dollars in gift cards. (Rough count was right about $800.) That’s how I can manage to do prizes periodically. If you haven’t joined yet, send me a message – I have a code for you to enter at registration for an extra 70 swagbucks! I’m also asking  – if you haven’t signed up yet, just as a favor to me please? Because the blogger with the most referrals at the end of the month wins a prize!

Next…  Julep is having a giveaway. You can enter here. See? ;P It’s not ALL about me. Julep is nail polish. They’re also giving away an ipad so… you know. One of those must be appealing to you, right?

As usual, am open to comments, suggestions, random discussion, and/or ranting. Have at it!!

    Happy Birthday, Lime!
If I wasn’t already a Swagbucks member, I’d sign up. I did send you a friend request but noticed that people aren’t notified of requests. I sent one to my sister, and she didn’t know it until I mentioned it to her directly. LOL

Eeek, sorry, VO! I’ll check. (Or who am I kidding. Try to remember to check.)
Do you like nail polish? Or… want to try to win an ipad3 at least? Cuz that’s something… 😀

I feel bad otherwise I have “nothing to offer you” – I might also have had too much sugar which is why I’m basically making up things to worry about.

        That’s okay! No worries. 🙂
Yep, love nail polish … when my nails are a decent length. Refuse to wear any when I have to cut them all down because one broke or whatever. LOL And I hate to say it, but I entered that giveaway before I saw your post about it. Sorry!

Oh! Are you a Julep Maven? Or have you used Julep before? I have a friend who got some of their polishes but she says they chip and peel really quickly and easily? : all except their glitter polishes.

And haha no need to apologize. I’ll just banish you from my blog! (Joking of course!!) I’m just blatently … well the word isn’t “pandering” but… soliciting? 😛 hopefulness. Because with both, everyone wins! (Ideally. Yes with swagbucks, and everyone has the *chance* to win with Julep!)

Happy Birthday Limecello! I love birthdays because it means I survived another year! I guess I’m giving away my age with that remark but to me actually waking up in the morning is a reason to celebrate.

One of these days someone will teach me how to twitter and twit but for right now I’m lucky to be able to figure out how to start a computer! My sons say that they can’t understand how my grandchildren know their way around the computer better than I do!

Just so you know the best thing about get older (really older) is that you can use the excuse that you must be having a “senior moment” and somebody does whatever needs to be done for you! See all the wonderful benefits you have to look forward to!

The last time you posted about Swagbucks I checked it out and it’s really a great deal! Now if I can just figure out to use it I”ll be all set!

Jeanne, I love that! I think it’s a great reminder, and something I really should take to heart. I’d at least (hopefully) be less grumpy! Thank you!

One of my oldest posts, if not the oldest one is actually a “Twitter 101” thing – if you ever feel inclined to check it out. I’m with you/against your sons though. Babies these days and kids grow up with all this. It makes more sense for them to be able to work technology than someone older.

Let me know if you have any questions about SB! I’ll do my best to answer them. 🙂

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Lime, Happy Birthday to you (almost)!

As jeannemiro said, everyday I wake up anymore is a bonus. I just had my big 60 the other day. Just another day to me, except my dear hubby treated me to dinner, a friend treated me to lunch, and I got lots of phone calls. The best part was that I woke up that day and the day after that. Lol!

I joined Swagbucks through you, but so far I haven’t won anything. Hopefully some day…

      Cathy –

I’m 65 this year and loving it! Both my older sisters can’t understand how they got grey hair in the 40’s and I still haven’t gotten any grey!

I should have thought ahead to this time in my life when I married a “younger” man – my husband now says I can’t retire until he does! My friends all tell me that necause he’s younger I got to “train” him and that it’s the only reason thy’re all divorced and I’m still married (42 years). Of course my husband just tells his friends that it’s “cheaper to keep her”!

WOW Jeanne – no grey hair! Lucky you! I have a feeling I’ll go grey and start dyeing my hair around 40. That’s when it hit my mom…

Also, forty-two years is yet another milestone, along with sixty five! Congratulations x2! And… haha your husband. *eyeroll* What a romantic. ;P
