Someone Wanna Volunteer to Pick Winners? ;D

Seriously though – that would be awesome. For winners to be picked, and the post to just magically appear. On time! Although the winner’s post is never at a set time…

Y’all know the drill. I think. Winners contact me here with the relevant prize info. Your address if needed, and what you won. If an ebook and you get the choice of format, that too. So… the relevant info. That makes it a lot easier for everyone, and more importantly, makes it so that you get your prize more quickly!

As usual… I try to post weekly, but it doesn’t always happen. I also announce if/when I know I won’t be able to. Still, I imagine subscribing, or making a note for yourself is the most effective way to guarantee you don’t miss a prize, because I will not email you. I just can’t handle it. Thanks for understanding!

All winners, you have until 11:59 PM EDT on Saturday, June 16 to claim your prize.

First up – Cynthia Eden was here and Heather McKenna wins an awesome prize!

Melissa Schroeder was here and offered prizes! R.E. Butler you get to choose print or e – so please be sure to include that.

Next, Jessica Jarman was here. She has two winners! Renee Brown and mary f! Can’t wait to hear from you.

Then, first in the Guest Author & A Giveaway bunch for special June birthday month?! Day Leclaire answered some questions for us. ;D And her winner is smartmouthtexan.

Stay turned for other winner announcements – and of course there are still giveaways open right now. Whee!

For everyone else – what’s new? How has your weekend been? And plans? Anything exciting to share – or something you’d like to vent about? I wanna hear it!

Congratulations to all the lucky winners.
This is my weekend to get after all the weeds in my flower beds. They really got ahead of me this year. Want to get flowers in before it rains this week. that would be perfect timing.

Pat, did you manage to get your gardening done?
I admit I’m terrible about outside. I really should help my mom with hers… she has flowers planted all over her yard (nicely!) and it looks great.
Heh. Whenever I had plants in my dorm/apartment my mum would steal them when I went home. 😛

    Hi Limecello –

Your post is always a great time to end my day! Congratulations to the winners.

Now I personally don’t visit your or any other bloggers post to win contests but admit it is nice to win once in a while. I go to find out what you and other bloggers are thinking, what they like and don’t like in books and the world in general. I like that you rant occasionally after all I do the same thing all the time but in my case at my husband! Since we’ve been married for 42 years he doesn’t actually listen anymore but instead just nods but at least to me when you have something to say I feel it’s significant and one of the reasons I come and “visit” even if I don’t post.

If I were a blogger I think the one thing I would rant about is the content of some of the posts from people entering to win a book or prize. Could we have some real content here? Is “This sounds like a nice book, I’d like to win” really a thoughtful entry? What do you think it’s “nice”? Why do you want to read it? How about “great author”? If you think the authors wonderful let me know why! I for one do read what people put in their posts for contests. I want to know why you are interested in winning the book and why the author drew your interest and if you’ve read other books she’s written.

How about you Lime? What do you think about it?

Jeanne, Yay timing! I haz it! Or I’ll pretend I do, because who doesn’t like lovely compliments? 😉
LOL at how your husband reacts. I think everyone needs an outlet. I’m just the special kind of stupid who airs it online and in a place where it’ll live forever. Oops.
I agree with you on your rant. When I first started at a group blog, the owner called them contest whores. I saw it more and more, and definitely when I started my own blog. You’ll notice such people rarely win here. 😉 [Hey, my blog, my rules, right?]

    Congratulations to all the winners.

Today is the ladt day hubby will be home for at least a week! *squeal* he is going with my little brother to California to help remodel his bathroom and should be gone for a few days. *woohoo* Hey after 22 years together, it’s ok for me to be this excited when he leaves for a few days….lol I might actually be able to read a book …all the way through without interruption because no one will be here asking me dumb questions like, “Did you see that commercial?” “Is my face red, I think I got too much sun today.” “Is that what you’re making for dinner?” lol

Our daughter is usaully gone with her friends so …party time! Or at least time to read a book..watch a movie I like and have a bowl of cereal for dinner if I want….lol

Mary!!! I chuckled when I first read your comment. And you’re definitely allowed to be happy to have your own space. I ADORE it. I also think of it – across the board – as “freely naked time.”
And there isn’t a damn thing wrong with cereal for dinner.
