THIS IS NOT OKAY!!! [No Internet for Lime]

My internet is just… dead. It comes and goes and is mostly going.

Even my phone’s 3G has failed me. I’m hoping the few seconds(?) it takes for me to type this it stays.

So, sorry if posts aren’t going up in a timely manner. We’ve switched the equipment twice, had technicians out, and everything.

Along with everything else going on right now? This just is too much.

SEND HELP PLEASE! [And anything else you think is reasonable and/or necessary]

Ellie, sadly, no 🙁 everyone doesn’t know how to! XD
      Or, that’s what they say.

This is why I keep asking people to join me at ALBTALBS!

That stinks, sorry you have to deal with this. Maybe have guest reviews or something, if nobody else has admin rights? Not sure how these things work so maybe that is not an option.

rinib, unfortunately guest reviews would still have to be posted. I’m hoping things are sorted now. But gah – it’s so annoying!

At my old house, there was a small crack in one of the outside phone lines next to the house and I would lose phone/internet every time it would rain, snow, or simply be windy (which sucks near Chicago). Have the techs checked the outside lines thoroughly? I had several come to check mine and only when I was able to arrange to be home when they arrived did someone actually find the issue. Good luck.

Hmmm Colleen – crack in outside phone line sounds bad! I don’t think the tech checked outside. I’m hoping the DSL filter does the trick :\
And thanks! If it’s weather related I’m sunk because the only seasons we have are bad weather, wet, and cold. 😛

I had a bad connector wire between the cable box & the WiFi box thingy – I noticed that the box was hot – once that wire was switched out things were fine – does any part of the equipment or wires feel extra warm?

Diane, nope – we kept getting a message on the DSL filter… and I installed one and we’ll see. It’s still acting up some :\ but the tech made me click the “do not show” message again so … blah. I’ve called SO many people so many times. Frustrating!

Our internet has been doing something similar. Tells me I have DSL but no internet connection. Or I connect and after a few posts, emails, games, etc. it’s down again and I’m running the diagnostics again and hoping it will come back on.
Haven’t had time to phone the company yet since you’re always on the phone a long, long time when you call and I only have seconds or minutes to spare.
Good luck – it’s not fun especially since we’re all so dependent on technology these days!

Oh no, JoAnne! Has it been resolved for you yet? Also, may I ask who is your ISP?
And I agree! One day the internet was out AND my phone’s 3G wouldn’t work either! I was about to run around in a panic. >.<
