Bad Lime Breaks the Schedule

So … I’ve lost my mind [and internet] and somehow have signed on to do a few blog tours, but this shit has just gotten to be too much and … I’m out. I mean, I never really felt in with that … but now I’m declaring myself out out of it.

One thing I hope you’ve noticed about A Little Bit Tart, A Little Bit Sweet (which, incidentally, is the actual name of my blog – and I often refer to it as ALBTALBS) is that we only have original content. Original, and exclusive. I might have somehow morphed into more of a promo blog (and *cringe* there), but at least I have new shit.

I don’t have many rules, and often can’t even manage to follow my own posting schedule … but this is something that I feel strongly about. There’s a hard rule. You wouldn’t believe the number of people who seem to have trouble with those comments.

I know I’m preaching to the choir, and ranting at the wrong people … but anyway, what was supposed to go live on Tuesday … won’t be.

And as justification, I give you this. Courtesy of Merriam-Webster.

original:

1 archaic :  the source or cause from which something arises; specifically :  originator

2 a :  that from which a copy, reproduction, or translation is made

 b :  a work composed firsthand
3 a :  a person of fresh initiative or inventive capacityb :  a unique or eccentric person

and

exclusive:

1 a :  excluding or having power to exclude
b :  limiting or limited to possession, control, or use by a single individual or group
2 a :  excluding others from participation
b :  snobbishly aloof
3 a :  accepting or soliciting only a socially restricted patronage (as of the upper class)
b :  stylish, fashionable
c :  restricted in distribution, use, or appeal because of expense
4 a :  single, sole <exclusive jurisdiction>
b :  whole, undivided <his exclusive attention>

So yeah. If either (both) definition doesn’t fit … the post won’t go up at ALBTALBS. (Unless I don’t know about it – I can’t check everything – but if you ever see it, do let me know. Then we can watch me bring the wrath of God down on the offender.) 😀

Happy “Tuesday!”

Hmmm I don’t think I’ve missed much here. LOL Do feel better, original is always best, though sometimes I just have to jump off it a bit, you do what you got to do.

Heh, ki pha, not sure if they’ve noticed, but I probably pissed off a publisher with just deciding not to post something … but they had “exclusive content” all over as promises in the tour info.

      So…. you know. >.> I don’t feel I was that wrong.

Stop stressing – too close to the holidays and the end of the year. I’ve enjoyed all your postings and comment on most – not all just because there are NOT enough hours in the day!

Sorry that you have that frustration, Lime. I like the fact that all of your posts are original! It’s different from a lot of other blogs. 🙂

Before I got injured I would never read books the way I do now. And I was reading a book every two days. After I read the 50 shades trilogy I was looking for something more. In my quest I came across your blog and I’ve been a faith reader of the books and postings that are on the page (even before the nam change). So screw the ones that feel that your blog is not original or exclusive because I think it’s great plus it is. You give more smaller writers more of a chance to get there material out there.

Aidrey! Welcome! Thank you so much for visiting!
And 🙁 I’m so sorry to hear you were injured. Hopefully you’re ok now!
      >.> As for the name change … I’m a tiny bit perplexed? Do you mean the domain change? From wordpress to a hosted site?

And WOW reading a book every two days? Sounds glorious. 😉 You should come review for me.
