Do You Have a Favorite Publisher/Author?

I’m curious – do you have a favorite [romance] publisher?

Favorite author? Favorite book?

Favorite food? ;D

[I wasted yesterday :X I was bad. I only did half the productive things I meant to today… including eating – as in I haven’t yet. XD So. We’ll all play catch up together?]

Suzanne Brockmann is my go-to author. Next would be Jill Shalvis. Both of them always write a great story and you never feel like you just wasted $4.99. Recently, I’ve been snapping up all of the Tule Publishing–Montana Born series, Copper Creek Rodeo series–and Entangled publishing seems to put out quality books.

I love all the Tule books, too, Avon, st. Martin press, etc…Susan Mallery, jane porter, Sarah MacLean, etc… classics from the Brontes, Austen, Margaret Mitchell’s Gone With the Wind…

Entangled has put out some amazing books recently, and of course I love the standards, Avon, Pocket and Kensington. My favorite author depends on genre and mood, although I will say that Richard Adam’s Watership Down started my intense love of books back in the 70’s. Food would have to be any type of seafood. I was a mermaid in my previous life. *snort*

Is this a trick question? Well, I have too many favorites of everything! Though I super love Historical romances and these publishers are great at publishing my favorite authors of Historicals: Avon, Pocket, Entangled, Sourcebooks Casablanca, St. Martin’s Press, Signet Eclipse, Kensington, Zebra, and Penguin-Berkley-Jove.

    Favorite food: noodles and pastas!

The favorite romance publisher is Samhain. My favorite author and favorite book ever is “She Coming Undone” by Wally Lamb. My favorite food is Pasta(any kind).
