Yes, I’m turning the tables on you! Generally bloggers give suggestions and their “best of” and “what to look for” … and I’ll do a bit of that here, but I want to know what you think I should read!
I’m all tapped out and all I want to do is curl up and sleep, eat, and read. Alas, I can’t do that, but a girl can dream, right?
So I want to know – A) what’s the best romance you’ve read lately? B) What about EVER? C) What’s one romance you think EV-ER-Y-ONE should read?
I’ll give you some suggestions … Mine by HelenKay Dimon is one of my favorite books I’ve read this year … but it’s not out until October. It’s okay though – this gives you time to read the three previous stories. 😀 (Mercy, Only, and Taken – until Mine, Taken had been my favorite!)
Meanwhile, I’m in the middle of reading a historical romance anthology, and soaking up cooking shows on PBS Create while I try to feel good about being able to sit up and finish another day and that being enough of a goal.
I love Lauren Dane’s Hurley brothers. Ezra (book 2) is my favorite
Well what I have read of lately is “Bound and Determined by Shayla Black ( plus the rest of the series),” the best ever is the “Taming of the Shrew(my classic love for the arts, lol)” plus my must read is “Sinjin by Julia Templeton” I think it did not get a fair shake from some critics but it deserves another look.
I read my first book by Nancy Thayer ‘The Guest Cottage’ – it’s a character driven contemporary – loved it! Now I’ll look for more by her.
For something refreshingly different–and rather poignant–I enjoyed The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion. Un-put-down-able.
When asked that question, my answer is Transcendence by Shay Savage. It took me 5 reads before I could move on from this book. But the storyline in itself is unique enough to give it a try. The hero is a caveman who is unable to communicate verbally with the heroine The whole story takes place in his thoughts. And for me it really works!!
Well, I though this would be easy but no, because, just one… And it depends on what kind of book you like, historical? paranormals? suspense? I will tell you some books, but I could recommend different titles another day.
The best romance you’ve read lately ? ‘Think of England’, by KJ Charles. M/M romance in an Edwardian setting.
What about EVER? ‘Anyone but You’ or ‘Bet Me’, by Jennifer Crusie, both contemporaries and funny and sexy
What’s one romance you think EV-ER-Y-ONE should read? ‘Morning Glory’ by Lavyrle Spencer
Some great books I’ve read these two lasts years ‘The Iron Duke’, by Meljean Brook, or the whole Spymasters series by Joanna Bourne.
