ALBTALBS Shout Outs and Sponsors From 2018

Hi friends! Every so often I offer ad space at ALBTALBS. Really it’s supposed to be $15/month (for a static image), but I don’t make a big deal about it. If someone purchases ad space generally I do a highlight post on it as well – if you’re a longtime reader you may have a vague recollection of this. Every so often I’ll offer monthly ad space at a discount. Ads are never enough to cover costs, but it’s definitely better than nothing. This all comes to mind for a number of reasons. First of all … blog fees are due soon, and if I want to keep ALBTALBS, it’s hundreds of dollars. Considering I had to set up a Go Fund Me for medical expenses … yeah.

Even without the major surgeries etc … in an attempt to help with the costs it’s why I set up a Ko-Fi too, a year or two ago.

Anyway! How the ads work is I put them as a widget in the sidebar, so ad blockers won’t remove them, and also so they’ll show on every page – the main one and specific posts. Please let me know if you’d like to be an ALBTALBS sponsor!

So … here are the ALBTALBS sponsors (people who paid for ads) from 2018 … and two shout outs which I’ll explain. (For the 2018 authors I went with their latest release that I could find.) That’s generally what I do too if someone doesn’t remember to let me know what image they want to run but have paid. Continue reading

Shout out to February ALBTALBS Sponsors!

Hi friends! I don’t talk about it much, but there are costs to running a blog, and I try to offset the monetary loss by offering advertising spots! It’s not something I do aggressively, but I’m always happy to have sponsors. I’ve also taken to highlighting them because well, it’s a win-win, right? Recently I also had someone who bought ad spots as gifts for friends, and I thought that was super cool too. Just something for you to keep in mind. 😉
And who doesn’t like to hear more about books? Continue reading

ALBTALBS Celebrates Our 7th Blogiversary with a $7 Ad Spot Sale

Hi friends! So, as you see, ALBTALBS turned 7! No real giveaways or other celebratory things planned for now. … If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know my “try too hard” … died? (A while ago…) Also I’ve had … you know… *gestures expansively* a lot going on. And because this is a question I see still … “What is ALBTALBS?” … ALBTALBS = A Little Bit Tart, A Little Bit Sweet. The name of this site. 😀

I’m really trying to bring ALBTALBS back though, with more regular posting, and I’ve got an awesome review crew and help and just, major shout out to N.R., Babs, Karen, Aidee, and Mary. [We may not be the most prolific, but we are stalwart!]

So anyway, for now, the most celebratory thing I’m doing is offering a month of ad space for $7. This will be the lowest price offered, and is good through January 15th. (Normally ad spots are $15/month.) If you’re interested, please let me know. Space is limited. Continue reading

I’m Thankful for November Sponsors

Some new friends with us – and one loyal one, authors Barbara Monajem, Jax Cassidy, and Mandy M. Roth.

I have some spots left for 2013, so if you’re interested, please let me know. I also love the representation from a variety of genres this month.

What do you think? Did any of the covers catch your eye? Have you read any books by these authors before?

Advertise With ALBTALBS!

Well, I’ve thought about it for a while. And perhaps I haven’t thought it to death, which is why it’s happening. But I’m taking the plunge, and offering ad space in the Tart and Sweet world! (You know, A Little Bit Tart, A Little Bit Sweet. My blog.)

Ads will be monthly. So, if you’re interested, please contact me!

I’ll update the “About” … or add another tab. But here’s an example of what an ad could be like!

Amazon ~ B&N

Smashwords ~ ARe

You can see it at the sidebar too. It wouldn’t be exactly like that, of course, but it gives you an idea.

N.B. – The widget from Beverley Kendall is not an ad. It’s something else, and there was no monetary exchange etc. I’m just highlighting it here because it’s the general idea of what an ad could/would be.
