[Apologies if you already saw this – the original post went live while the host was moving things so the site was down for some time, so I’m re-upping it as new. Especially since I need a lot of help/lot more than I had anticipated.]

You may or may not know but … the site was down for a while – the hosting company had to make some changes and it was a big mess … and I’ve also got a lot going on.

It’s mostly explained in the GFM post and updates so … I literally cringe even asking this, but if you’re able to help at all, I’d really appreciate it. “Please help Limecello.”

As for a new/current update … I’d thought the robot wounds had stopped bleeding but they have not, unfortunately. My eye has been twitching for over two weeks now, and on average I’m getting about 3 hours of sleep a day. It’s rough going, but I’m trying. And I really appreciate everyone keeping me company and being so kind. Thank you. ❤️

So … This Is Awkward. I Need Help. (Please)

Hi friends! … So, a few things. I’ve been slightly more close mouthed and cagey about it this time. (I know, I know, you’re going “what? You? Quiet about anything?!”) … So there is that. But uh … I’m not even sure when this will be going live, or where I’ll be … (please Jesus God in Heaven let me be home by this time, not in the hospital or a rehab facility) … but I probably won’t be lucid. Anyway – I’m having major surgery. Major.

The last time I had to have this done, I was in the hospital almost nine days. I also almost literally died. … And then I “just” wanted to die. So yeah.

And … now we get to the even more awkward part. (God can it get even more awkward? … Sadly, yes.)

I need help. Monetary, mostly, to be honest. I’m going to be out of work for more than three months, and without pay. I guess the positive is I’ll still have my sad little job to go back to once I’m a bit more on my feet … but having no income while at the same time racking up major medical expenses is unfortunately putting me in a really difficult situation.

And … then there’s the other also awkward part. You might remember last time (and unfortunately I’m actually still recovering from it…) … there was also a GFM for me. That was done by Ashley March/Elise Rome. She wanted to help me out and suggested staring a campaign for me, and asking if I’d be ok with it. I was touched, and thanked her. Well … things didn’t go quite as expected and she kept most of the funds for over a year. She has started sending some more of the money as of this year, which I really appreciate.

I’m not actually trying to shame her – I really simply want to explain what happened last time – why I’m asking for “yet more money” and such. Although to be honest all of that was gone/already spent on medical things before it would’ve even ever gotten to me. If that makes sense. Everything is a muddle.

The point is, if you could find it in your hearts and wallets to donate to me … I can’t tell you how much it’d mean to me, or how much I need it. I’m embarrassed, mortified, sick with … shame and need, but there you have it. My needs are greater than my pride.

When You’re a Mess, You Need Help

Hi friends! I don’t even know what to say. ALBTALBS is up for now, and to stay up, which is good, since ASO took “all my monies!” … Which … come 2019 I’m thinking I need to have a new hosting company already in sight.

Anyway, I know I’ve been really absent for say, the past few years, even. I’ve got a lot going on. We all do, I know. But this year, I’ve been really out of commission, and this is part of it.

Elise Rome decided to take it upon herself to set up a GFM for me – which kinda details a bit of what’s been going on. I had no part of it, but was and am totally verklempt with the love and support from romanceland. I’m definitely still in the weeds though, so if you could find it in your heart (and wallet) to give, I’d be beyond grateful. Just a quick note to say … well I know I’m behind – but also – what you don’t know, is since ~January or so some jackwagon(s) have been trying to hack into my blog and it is annoying as fuck and also apparently screwing things up so …

Yeah. Beyond that, there is just a lot going on in “Lime’s world.”

After RT I’m pretending I’ll have more time. And maybe believing that will make it happen?

I also need to know if posts are finally going to FB again. So … does anyone get here from my FB page?

And what book recommendations do you have for me?

Kindle Some Fires for Charity

Nevertheless I want to do that now. I’m going to create a rafflecopter… :X soon.

We can discuss prizes – it could be a kindle fire, a box of books, or something else, such as jewelry. I do want to note the prize will be *something that I have already. Why? I don’t want to spend money on this because I feel like if I were to spend money, it should go to a donation for charity. Does that make sense?

How will this work? Any person who gets someone to comment on the SMSG13 post, or donate, or both, gets an entry. It’s your job to keep track. So, regardless if I do a rafflecopter or not, you can keep track in the comments of this post.

New Feature: Indie Author Spotlights + Your Part in This

You all may have noticed that I’ve started a new feature and that Bella Andre is visiting with us today. This is something I plan on doing quarterly at ALBTALBS .

Where do you come in?

I want to know what questions I should be asking these authors in the future? (And if you wouldn’t mind please spreading the word…) Upcoming we have R.E. Butler, Elle Lothlorien, Jax Cassidy, Beverley Kendall, Dee Tenorio, Laurie B. London, Ruthanne Reid, and Katy Madison. (Which actually takes us into the beginning of 2015! Eek!)
